Gwen and I rode for about 135 miles on Saturday and here are some of the sights. We even saw a big line of chained up Puttytats at LOW, deer, two Great Gray owls (that are unmoved by the presence of sleds) and a swimming snowmobile.  There are several pix with mud trails.  I am really disappointed about this kind of occurrence as it really screws up a good ride.  I will be continuing our dialogue with the Forest Service and the DNR in order to make sure logging activities and FS/DNR activities minimize their impact on our trails.  We, as a club, need to be able to address these things as they come up. The goal would be to meet all user groups' wants while respecting each other's right to utilize the Forests. For EDA1 issues, our club will make sure we open a new Warroad-Roseau route that you can view on the online map.  For Beltrami, if it becomes GIA, then we will recommend improvements and workarounds that will provide opportunities for good, sustainable, and consistent trail quality and adequate timber sale access.
